Welcome to Somerset Animal Information Services ("SAIS", "we", "us", or "our") Business Portal. By registering an account, accessing our backend portal, or updating your directory listing, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for an account or using the SAIS Business Portal, you confirm that you are authorized to represent the business listed under your assigned Business ID and that you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use this portal.

2. Accuracy of Information

Registered business owners are solely responsible for ensuring that all information displayed on their directory listing (including business names, categories, contact numbers, email addresses, social media links, and descriptions) is accurate, up-to-date, and lawful.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

When using the portal and managing your directory listing, you agree not to:

Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or defamatory information.
Upload malicious code, scripts, or attempt to bypass system security, authentication tokens, or idle timeout controls.
Use the portal or directory to distribute spam, unsolicited promotional material, or content unrelated to legitimate local services and animal welfare.
Impersonate other businesses or claim unauthorized Business IDs.

4. Account Security & Administration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your login credentials. New accounts are subject to administrative review and approval before directory modifications are enabled. We reserve the right to suspend or revoke access for any account that violates these terms or provides unverified credentials.

5. Intellectual Property & Content

All platform code, design structures, and database layouts remain the property of SAIS. By submitting business descriptions and media links, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display that content publicly on our community directory.

6. Limitation of Liability

SAIS provides the directory and portal on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free portal availability and accept no liability for any direct or indirect loss resulting from directory downtime, data inaccuracies, or technical malfunctions.

7. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically to reflect changes in our platform or legal requirements. Continued use of the portal constitutes your acceptance of any updated terms.
